The Local Take:

Located on the jungle side of the beach road,  El Tabano is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are famous for serving breakfast all day! The menu is a Mayan fusion of avors including fresh local seafood, tacos, soups and salads. The dishes are imaginative and scrumptious such as the stacked pear salad with brie, granola and honey! Mmmmm!
